With the yearly celebration of the Annual Function, New India Sr. Sec. School marked 43 years since its inception in 1981. The school comes up with a new name for the annual event every year. The event this year was Euphoria 2024. The word Euphoria is Greek and refers to a sense of friendship and goodwill. More than just a cultural event, the Annual Function exists. It is an occasion to celebrate life. Numerous personality changes in the students were overshadowed by it. It aimed to have all students participate.

The event featured 14 stagings in total. Each of the student performances, such as “Social Geeks,” a dance drama that showcases the dungeon of social media, and Goonj, the unheard voices, had a deeper meaning that goes beyond simple entertainment and gave kids something to think about. Everyone who was involved in the event—students, faculty, alumni, and school administration—came together to enjoy it. Alumni who achieved merit positions in their CBSE results as well as students who excelled in multiple areas were given the honour. All of the props and makeup artists were created in school. For everyone, it was a rewarding experience.

We celebrate festivals at New India Senior Sec. School to promote social interaction, honour cultural diversity, and impart historical knowledge. By taking part in holidays like Independence Day, Easter, and Holi, students develop their self-esteem and confidence. Our educational system places a strong emphasis on fostering moral principles and values in order to support students’ overall growth.
